Why was my KYC rejected?

If your KYC submission was rejected, do not worry. It is usually a simple issue that can be fixed quickly. Here are the most common reasons and how to solve them.

1. Blurry or unreadable ID

Your uploaded ID must be clear, sharp, and fully visible. If the image is blurry, cropped, or dark, it cannot be accepted. Make sure all text and your photo are easy to read.

2. Mismatched information

The name on your ID must match the name you provided during registration. Any difference, even a small one, can cause rejection. Double-check for spelling errors or missing middle names.

3. Missing selfie with ID

We require a selfie where you are holding your chosen ID. This is a security step to confirm that the document belongs to you. Make sure your face and the ID are both visible and clear in the photo.

4. Invalid or expired document

Make sure the ID you submit is one of the accepted types and that it is not expired. We accept:

  • National identity card
  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • Voter’s card
  • Resident card

5. Incomplete business documents (for Full KYC)

If you are verifying as a business and submitted incomplete or unclear documents, your KYC will be rejected. Please ensure your business name is consistent and all pages of the document are uploaded.
