How My Supplier Will Receive CNY via Bank Transfer

When you send money to your supplier via bank transfer using REasy the funds are delivered in CNY directly to their Chinese commercial bank account
This method is recommended for paying official Chinese companies and is fully compliant with business payment rules in China

How the process works

  1. You complete the payment through REasy
  2. REasy converts your XAF to CNY and sends the funds to the supplier’s Chinese commercial bank account
  3. The supplier’s bank receives the funds
  4. The money is credited to the supplier’s CNY account
  5. The supplier will usually be notified by their bank

The supplier does not need to take any special action if their account is properly set up and verified for receiving international payments

First time receiving

For large amounts or first time payments the supplier’s bank may request them to provide supporting documents such as

  • A valid invoice
  • The business contract linked to the transaction

This is normal and required by Chinese regulations for B2B payments

Constraints and limitations from China side

  • The supplier must have a commercial CNY bank account registered in Mainland China
  • You can send in CNY or USD
  • If your supplier’s invoice is in USD you should select USD in the REasy app
  • There is no transfer limit for CNY or USD payments to Chinese commercial bank accounts
  • The supplier’s account name must exactly match the name you entered in Latin characters

When will the money arrive

Bank transfers to Chinese commercial bank accounts are generally processed quickly
However the exact time depends on the supplier’s bank and possible regulatory checks in China

In most cases the funds are credited within a few working days
For larger amounts or first time payments additional verification by the bank may take more time

Important notes

  • Only commercial bank accounts can receive this type of transfer
  • The account name must be entered exactly as registered in the bank system
  • If there is a mismatch or missing information the payment may be delayed or refunded
