REasy and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) have partnered to simplify imports from China to Cameroon, combining secure digital payments, sea freight consolidation and end-to-end shipment tracking in one integrated experience for African SMEs and traders.
Importing from China remains a complex journey for many African SMEs. While the tools needed to source, pay for and ship goods already exist, they are often fragmented across multiple providers, making the process difficult to navigate and access.
REasy and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) are working together to change that.
The partnership brings together REasy's digital payment infrastructure and AGL's logistics expertise to offer a more integrated way for Cameroonian SMEs and traders to import goods from China.
From payment to delivery, in one integrated journey
Through this collaboration, businesses can access a simplified import experience combining:
Instead of managing separate providers for payments and logistics, businesses have a single point of contact through REasy, helping make the import process simpler, more transparent and easier to manage.
A first container successfully delivered to Cameroon
The first consolidated container from China to Cameroon, operated in collaboration with AGL China and AGL Cameroon, successfully arrived in Douala.
This milestone marks an important step in the deployment of the integrated solution and demonstrates what is possible when digital financial services and logistics infrastructure work together.
For REasy, this is more than the launch of a new service. It is a step toward building a more connected infrastructure for African businesses trading internationally.
Starting in Cameroon, with more corridors to come
Cameroon is the starting point for this model, with plans to expand to additional trade corridors across Africa.
By combining payments, shipping and logistics tracking into a more unified experience, REasy and AGL aim to make international trade more accessible to the SMEs and entrepreneurs who drive Africa's economic growth.
The first container has arrived. This is only the beginning.
Founded in 2023, REasy is the first African trade finance platform integrating cross-border payments, licensed logistics, and regulatory compliance, purpose-built for import-oriented SMEs across the continent.
In collaboration with the Bank of Central African States (BEAC), REasy co-developed the first regulated FX framework dedicated to small importers in Africa, paving the way for greater financial inclusion in global trade.
REasy is backed by top investors such as Launch Africa, 54 Collective, Ingressive Capital, and Digital Africa, and collaborates with strategic partners including J.P. Morgan, Thunes, Triple A, Afriland First Bank, and United Bank for Africa (UBA).
